In the aftermath of the assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk in September there was a lot of talk and justifiable outrage among conservatives over the sheer volume of people on the left who thought celebrating his murder was okay. They believed he deserved it for what they described in so many words as his hateful bigoted views.

The outrage was not just directed at the deranged people who mocked and cheered his killing but also the mainstream media which many on the right felt put a target on Kirk’s back. This happened thanks to the lies they spewed over the years about his positions on the issues, how they took him out of context and made him out to be someone he wasn’t.

Even after his assassination outlets like the NY Times were spreading falsehoods about Kirk that would later have corrections issued to them.

Now here we are three months later with Kirk’s wife Erika and their two young children having gone through the first birthday and holiday without Charlie Kirk there alongside them to celebrate. And while no one reading this will be surprised to read that the MSM hasn’t changed one bit, one especially infuriating thing to learn is that their misinformation campaign surrounding Kirk’s alleged assassin Tyler Robinson has been largely successful.

A new poll shows most Americans don’t know Robinson’s true political leanings.

Even worse was what they found among students who were even less informed about the killer’s background.

Upon hearing the news TPUSA spokesman Andrew Kolvet noted that concern about the inconvenient facts regarding Robinson’s political leanings would intentionally get lost or otherwise buried by the Usual Suspects in the corporate press. This was what prompted him and many others to call out late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel over his bogus claim that Robinson was a MAGA guy.

Early on after Kirk was killed Vice President JD Vance a close friend of Charlie Kirk’s nuked the various narratives being spun by the media about Robinson in no uncertain terms.

“This is a person who grew up in a pretty normal family…who was radicalized by the far left, by the social networks of the far left and by the ideas of the far left. And got so far down the path of radicalization that he killed my friend [Charlie Kirk]! That is not a ‘both sides’ problem.”

Vance continued his assessment.

“My friend is dead because of left-wing political radicalization. And if you want to cut that [..] out, then be honest about it and look yourself in the mirror.”

Prosecutors have alleged that Robinson told his alleged transgender love interest and roommate in text messages that I had enough of his hatred. Some hate can’t be negotiated out.

A charging document filed by prosecutors in court said that Robinson’s mother told investigators that her son had grown more political and that his political views had moved to the left over the last year or so. She also told the police that he had become more pro-gay and trans-rights oriented. Robinson’s partner who was living with him had been transitioning to being a woman from a man prosecutors said.

The poll results represent a stunning success for the media’s propaganda operation. They managed to bury the truth about Robinson’s political radicalization so effectively that most Americans remain ignorant of the basic facts.

The student poll results are even more disturbing showing how thoroughly young people have been misinformed. College campuses are echo chambers where left-wing narratives go unchallenged.

Jimmy Kimmel claiming Robinson was MAGA despite all evidence to the contrary shows how brazenly the media will lie. He knew the truth but pushed a false narrative anyway.

The New York Times issuing corrections after Kirk’s death proves they were spreading misinformation even as his family mourned. Their contempt for truth is matched only by their hatred of conservatives.

Robinson’s text messages about having enough of Kirk’s hatred reveal he was motivated by exactly the kind of demonization the media engaged in for years. They painted Kirk as a hateful bigot until someone believed it enough to kill him.

His mother’s statement about his leftward political shift and embrace of trans rights activism directly contradicts the media narrative. They buried this information because it didn’t fit their preferred story.

Robinson living with a transgender partner who was transitioning provides crucial context the media omitted. His radicalization was tied to LGBT activism not right-wing extremism.

Vance’s statement that this is not a both sides problem destroys the false equivalence the media tried to create. Kirk was killed by left-wing radicalization period.

The fact that Kirk’s wife and children had to celebrate their first birthday and holiday without him makes the media’s lies even more disgusting. They cannot even show basic decency to a grieving family.

TPUSA’s concern that Robinson’s political background would be buried proved prescient. The media did exactly what conservatives predicted they would do.
