The plot unraveled on June 10, 2026, because a mother was paying attention. Tycen Proper, 19, of Ohio — one of the five arrested — had a mother who noticed something and called the police. The FBI and Secret Service moved. Arrests were announced June 16. The suspects face charges of conspiracy to murder and conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States.
