New Poll Proves What We Already Knew — Democrats Can't Stand America

A brand-new NBC News poll just confirmed what every flag-waving, anthem-singing conservative has known for years — Democrats are embarrassed to be American. Only 33% of Americans now say they're "extremely proud" of their country, and when you dig into who's dragging that number down, the answer is about as surprising as finding a pronoun pin at a faculty meeting.

Twelve times. Democrats are twelve times more likely than Republicans to say they're "not proud at all" of America. Let that sink in for a second. The party that wants to run your healthcare, raise your kids, and regulate your gas stove actively dislikes the country they're trying to control.

NBC News data analyst Steve Kornacki broke the numbers down on Meet the Press, hosted by Kristen Welker, and even he seemed a little stunned. "Look: 'extremely proud,' 'very proud.' Those numbers together get you 56%. At the other end of it: 'only a little' or 'not proud at all,' 21%," Kornacki explained.

That 56% combined pride number is a nosedive from where we used to be. At the turn of the century, 75% of Americans said they were "extremely" or "very proud" to be American. By 2003, it was still at 70%. Now? Barely over half.

"The significance of this, this number is in decline. A steady 21st-century decline," Kornacki noted. "At the turn of the century, three-quarters of Americans were 'extremely' or 'very proud.' That number's fallen to 56%."

Gee, wonder what happened over the last twenty-five years. Could it be decades of public schools teaching kids that America is a racist dumpster fire? Could it be universities cranking out graduates who think the Fourth of July is "problematic"? Could it be an entire political party that treats the flag like a triggering symbol?

The poll, conducted jointly by Hart Research Associates — a Democratic polling firm led by Jeff Horwitt — and Public Opinion Strategies, the Republican firm led by Bill McInturff, isn't some right-wing outfit cooking the books. This is NBC's own poll. Their own numbers. Their own network's data guy explaining on their own Sunday show that Democrats fundamentally do not like this country.

Kornacki laid out the partisan fault line plainly: "First, it's partisan. Look at this: Republicans are almost universally going to tell you, 'extremely or very proud.' Look at that number for Democrats." He then dropped the hammer — "12 times as many Democrats say that compared to Republicans."

Twelve times.

Here's the thing Republicans already understand but the media never will — you can't fix a country you despise. You can't lead a nation you're ashamed of. Every single policy the left pushes, from open borders to tearing down statues to rewriting history textbooks, makes perfect sense when you realize they genuinely believe America is the villain.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are out here coaching Little League, hanging the flag on the porch, and thanking veterans at the grocery store. We're the ones who still tear up during the national anthem — not because we think America is perfect, but because we know she's worth fighting for.

The 21% who say they're "only a little" or "not proud at all"? Nobody's stopping them from leaving. Flights to Canada are surprisingly affordable.

But they won't leave. They never do. Because deep down, even the most committed America-hater knows there's nowhere else on earth that would put up with their nonsense and still let them collect a government check.

Happy almost-Fourth, patriots. The numbers don't lie — we love this country, and they don't. Vote accordingly.
