Savannah Chrisley's Fiancé Did Time With Her Dad — and Business With Hunter Biden

Savannah Chrisley announced on her podcast Monday that she's pregnant and engaged to a man she identified only as "Jason." Within hours, the internet did what the internet does — and the mystery groom turned out to be Jason Galanis, a 56-year-old convicted securities fraudster who served time at Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida. The same facility where Savannah's father Todd Chrisley was locked up for bank fraud.

Their prison stints overlapped for several months in 2023.

Galanis wasn't some low-level inmate who happened to share a yard with Todd. He was sentenced to 189 months — nearly 16 years — after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit securities fraud, securities fraud, and investment adviser fraud in connection with a scheme that looted approximately $60 million from the Wakpamni Lake Community Corporation of the Oglala Sioux Tribe. The money was supposed to go into annuities to benefit the tribal corporation. It ended up in a bank account in Florida controlled by Galanis and his associates.

President Trump commuted Galanis's sentence in March 2025. Two months later, on May 27, 2025, Trump pardoned Todd and Julie Chrisley, who had been sentenced to 12 and seven years respectively for bank fraud and tax evasion after prosecutors said the couple submitted false financial statements to obtain more than $30 million in personal loans.

Savannah, who is 29, addressed the 27-year age gap on the October 27 episode of her "Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley" podcast. "That's probably part of the reason why I kept a lot of it quiet, because I know how brutal the public can be," she said. She described the relationship in warmer terms elsewhere: "We do everything together. It's just such an amazing, fulfilling feeling to finally find your person."

The proposal happened during a trip to the Cayman Islands in December 2025 — roughly nine months after Galanis walked out of federal prison. Savannah revealed the pregnancy was discovered while she was on a yacht traveling along the coast of Turkey and Greece, following IVF and egg retrieval.

But the résumé doesn't stop at securities fraud. Forbes magazine profiled Galanis back in 2004 under the headline "Porn's New King" after he purchased what was then the nation's largest payment processor for internet pornography. His father, John Galanis, was a notorious white-collar criminal who bilked investors out of $400 million before going to prison himself. Jason reportedly received a $100,000 Ferrari for his 16th birthday.

Between 2014 and 2015, Galanis was in business with Devon Archer and Hunter Biden through Burnham Financial Group, where Hunter served as vice chairman. Archer was convicted in the same Wakpamni tribal bond fraud case. Galanis was never charged in connection with the Bidens' foreign business dealings, but the overlap made him a person of congressional interest — House Republicans were prepping him to testify from prison in 2024, per Axios.

Savannah spent years as a vocal advocate for her parents' release, making the rounds on conservative media and eventually catching President Trump's attention. According to her podcast, she met Galanis through those same political circles. He reached out in June 2025 to congratulate her after Todd and Julie's pardons, and the conversations turned romantic from there.

The baby is due in early 2027.
