Whatever happened to Russia Today, otherwise known as RT? It was a real TV news station once upon a time, which was equally respected alongside outlets like the BBC. (Maybe that’s a low bar, but still.) It turns out that Americans are no longer allowed to watch RT unless they catch clips from it on Rumble or X.com. For the most part, the network has been censored out of existence in the US because of our sophisticated RUSSIA BAD(!) foreign policy. But in a growing sign of just how much disregard the rest of the world holds America in right now, other countries are suddenly refusing to follow the US government’s censorship demands.

Joe Biden’s Secretary of State Tony Blinken has been trying to pressure India into censoring RT in their country. Blinken’s team told India’s Ministry of External Affairs that they need to fight “Russian disinformation” by taking RT off the air in their country. Blinken also told India to revoke the accreditations from the station and to force any RT journalists in India to register under the Foreign Missions Act, which is similar to FARA here in the US.

Do you remember how much India loved Donald Trump when he was president? They don’t feel that way toward the US any longer. They basically told the Biden regime to p*ss off.

Ever since Kamala Harris blundered her way into starting the Ukraine-Russia war, the Russian-Indian Strategic Partnership has only gotten stronger. India is also part of the BRICS alliance, which seeks to replace US petrodollars as the world’s reserve currency. That sort of foreign policy strong-arming used to work on the rest of the world, but it doesn’t any longer. India refuses to censor the news offered to its citizens just because Tony Blinken says so.

RT has been around as a news station for almost 20 years. No one ever complained that it was spreading “Russian disinformation” until Barack Obama staged the 2014 coup in Ukraine and toppled the democratically elected government there. Ever since then, Hillary Clinton and the rest of the neo-conservative warmongers in Washington, DC, have been trying to provoke Russia into a world war. No one is sure why they want to do this. They just want to.

Before Barack Obama and the rest of DC decided that they wanted a war with Russia, many American journalists, politicians, and commentators worked for RT. After Larry King left his long and storied career at CNN, he had a show on RT for several years. Liberal commentators Ed Schultz and Thom Hartmann, along with the Libertarian former Governor of Minnesota Jesse Ventura, all had shows on RT. Nobody ever accused them of being Russian propagandists.

What is this really about?

The federal government does not want the American people to have access to alternative news sources when it comes to the Ukraine-Russia war. They’re censoring the news that we have access to so that we won’t realize what a bunch of jerks our politicians are. (Spoiler alert: We know what a bunch of jerks they are, which is why we’re about to elect Donald Trump again.) They only want us to get our news from regime-approved bootlickers like David Muir at ABC News and Dana Bash at CNN.

It’s disgusting when you think about it. The US government is supposed to be pushing American values like freedom of speech and freedom of the press to other countries around the world. Instead, the Biden regime is trying to bully other countries into adopting the same censorship regime that now runs our once-great country.

How ironic is it that India, of all places, now has greater freedom of the press and freedom of speech than Americans do under Kamala Harris and Joe Biden?
