Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee just mocked Americans for complaining about high food prices. Talk about out of touch! You’d think they would have realized by now that runaway inflation and a drastically reduced quality of life were part of the reason why they got their butts kicked so badly in the election. Instead, they’re taunting the voters for rejecting their garbage policies.

The Ways and Means Democrats were gloating when the numbers came in from Black Friday sales. Americans spent a record-high $10.8 billion on Black Friday this year. This did not happen because the economy was great, as Democrats are claiming. It happened because everything costs so much more!

The Democrats sent out a tweet mocking Americans when the Black Friday figures were released. They were getting dragged so badly for the tweet that they deleted it. Fortunately, House Speaker Mike Johnson’s staff saved the receipts:

Johnson is right. They are out of touch. And obnoxious.

Earlier this year, before his own party threw him under the bus, Joe Biden was informed that food prices had increased by more than 30% on his watch. Biden shrugged it off. He claimed that Americans could afford the higher prices because his economy was doing so well.

The Democrats either don’t care, or they are too stupid to realize, that Americans’ weekly paychecks have shrunk by 4.4% during the same time that groceries went up by more than 30%. Outstanding credit card balances have increased to $1.1 trillion as families were forced to go into debt to pay for necessities.

The average American family is $8,100 a year poorer today than they were when Donald Trump left office in January 2021. And all the out-of-touch Democrats can do is mock us for the misery they’ve caused.
