View Host Drops Shocking Claim About Trump And The Riots

Whoopi Goldberg has taken her anti-Trump hysteria to new heights.

On Monday’s episode of The View, the left-wing host accused President Donald Trump of trying to ignite a “civil war” by deploying the National Guard to control the violent protests engulfing Los Angeles. Goldberg suggested that Trump’s decision to protect citizens and federal property was an unconstitutional overreach.

“The Defense Department has the U.S. Marines on high alert right now,” Goldberg said. “Now, you know, is it warranted, or does this sort of escalate the situation?” She questioned why Trump didn’t ask permission from California officials, saying, “Whatever happened to states’ rights?”

What Goldberg failed to acknowledge is that over 40 people have already been arrested, Border Patrol vehicles have been attacked, and federal buildings have been defaced. Trump’s deployment of 2,000 National Guard troops followed days of riots sparked by immigration enforcement and raids conducted by ICE.

Yet Goldberg’s outrage wasn’t about the lawless mobs or the destruction of property. It was about Trump allegedly using the moment to “create a problem” by sending in troops. She bizarrely referenced tactical gear and arrests near a donut shop to claim that law enforcement was the one “creating an issue.”

Co-host Sunny Hostin chimed in, warning that Trump’s actions were “militarizing” protests and equated the deployment with a fascist crackdown. “There’s a very big, stark demarcation between military troops and law enforcement,” Hostin said. “You are an army turned inside to police its citizens. It can cause chaos and fascism.”

Goldberg cut in with a single word: “Civil war.”

Hostin then agreed, claiming Trump was trying to deploy the Guard “anywhere in this country where there is a protest,” despite the fact that the National Guard is only being used where local officials have lost control or refuse to act.

Neither Goldberg nor Hostin acknowledged the fact that it was President Trump’s responsibility to protect federal assets and restore order when local Democrat leaders refuse to do so. Governor Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass have failed to prevent riots, arson, and violence in their own backyard.

Trump’s order was not a declaration of war—it was an assertion of federal authority in the face of urban collapse. But to the Hollywood left, anything that restores order is tyranny. They have no problem with illegal immigration or mob violence. Their only problem is Trump standing in the way of it.

This is the same Whoopi Goldberg who once called for “consequences” for conservatives who disagreed with progressive narratives. Now she’s fearmongering about civil war because the president took steps to stop real chaos from spreading.

The American people see through it. They know who’s defending the country and who’s defending disorder. Trump’s decision to send the Guard is about protecting the rule of law. Hollywood’s meltdown is about losing control of the narrative.

And once again, they’ve shown they’ll side with lawlessness before they ever stand with law and order.
